Short answer: for a Solana bot, host it next to a Jito block engine and your RPC provider: Jito runs block engines in Amsterdam, Frankfurt and New York, which are three of our six locations. For a Polymarket bot, Polymarket says its primary servers are in AWS eu-west-2 (London); of our locations Amsterdam is closest. A 2 vCPU / 2–6 GB Linux VPS is enough for most bots, from $6.50 a month, paid with crypto.
Both kinds of bot live and die by two things: being online every second, and getting transactions or orders to the right place quickly. The first is solved by any decent VPS. The second depends on where you put it. Here's what's known, with sources.
01Solana Bots: Follow the Block Engine and the RPC
A Solana bot (sniper, arbitrage, market maker, copy trader) talks to two things:
- 1.An RPC node, for reading state and sending transactions. If you use a provider, pick the region they recommend and put your server in the same city.
- 2.A Jito block engine, if you send bundles or tips. Jito publishes its regional endpoints:
| Jito block engine | Rdp.Vision location in the same city |
|---|---|
| amsterdam.mainnet.block-engine.jito.wtf | Amsterdam |
| frankfurt.mainnet.block-engine.jito.wtf | Frankfurt |
| ny.mainnet.block-engine.jito.wtf | New York |
| dublin, london, slc, singapore, tokyo | No same-city location; Amsterdam (Europe) or Hong Kong (Asia) are the nearest |
Source: Jito's low-latency transaction docs, as of November 2026.
Same city as the block engine and the RPC beats any amount of tuning.
Which of the three? The one where your RPC provider has a node. If you run your own RPC, that's a dedicated machine with hundreds of GB of RAM, not a VPS job; rent RPC access and keep the bot on the VPS.
02Polymarket Bots: London Is the Target
Polymarket's documentation states:
- Primary servers: AWS eu-west-2, which is London.
- Closest non-georestricted region: eu-west-1, which is Dublin.
We don't have London or Dublin. Of our locations, Amsterdam is the closest to both.

Polymarket restricts trading by where the user is, in three tiers: fully blocked, close-only on the website and API, and close-only on the website only. As of November 2026 its list includes, among others, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Poland and Singapore as close-only, and the Netherlands as restricted on the website but not the API. The list changes; Polymarket publishes it and offers a check at https://polymarket.com/api/geoblock.
03What Specs a Bot Needs
| Bot | vCPU | RAM | Rdp.Vision plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Simple Python/TypeScript bot, one strategy | 1–2 | 2 GB | Linux, $6.50/month |
| Several bots, WebSocket feeds, a small database | 2 | 6 GB | Linux, $13.00/month |
| Heavy backtests or many markets in parallel | 6 | 10 GB | Linux, $26.00/month |
Disk barely matters for a bot: 20–40 GB NVMe is plenty. CPU matters more than RAM if you sign and simulate many transactions per second.
Full root SSH access · NVMe storage · DDoS protection · No setup fee
04Measure, Don't Trust
Location tables tell you where to start. Your own measurements tell you where to stay. On a fresh server:
# Round trip to the Jito block engine in each city
for r in amsterdam frankfurt ny; do
printf "%-10s" $r
curl -s -o /dev/null -w "%{time_connect}s connect, %{time_total}s total\n" \
https://$r.mainnet.block-engine.jito.wtf/api/v1/bundles
done
# Polymarket CLOB
curl -s -o /dev/null -w "clob %{time_connect}s connect, %{time_total}s total\n" \
https://clob.polymarket.com/Run it a few times and compare the connect time between servers in different cities. Rent the smallest plan in two locations, keep the faster one, and turn auto-renew off on the other. More on measuring in Trading Bot VPS: Which Location?.
05Setup Tips for Bots That Can't Stop
Run it under systemd
with Restart=always, so a crash or reboot doesn't stop trading.
Keep keys off the code
An environment file readable only by the bot's user, a hot wallet with only what the bot needs.
Sync the clock
Signed requests with a skewed timestamp get rejected; check timedatectl.
Alert yourself
A Telegram message when the bot errors or stops trading.
Pay in a stablecoin
USDC or USDT on Solana costs fractions of a cent to send.
The city of your RPC provider's node, ideally also a Jito block engine city. Jito has block engines in Amsterdam, Frankfurt and New York, where Rdp.Vision also has servers.
